The polls are swinging wildly and voter enthusiasm seems higher than usual for midterms in recent memory or maybe ever.
Vice President Mike Pence predicts the Republicans will hold both houses and I tend to agree with him. In fact, I have a months-old dinner bet riding on his prediction coming to pass.
Its not only that, freed of some of the more restrictive regulations and with tax cuts, the economy is booming and unemployment low, its a psychological thing. People are more optimistic and bullish than they were when Obama was president. I read this to mean they are willing to give the presidents party credit for their gains and want them to continue.
Rasmussen weighs in on the situation with a word of caution for those predicting a blue wave.
Democrats hold just a three-point lead on the latest Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot which has a +/- 2 margin of error. Look for our final Generic Ballot Monday morning.
Just as in 2016, Democrats are more outspoken about how theyre going to vote in the upcoming elections than Republicans and unaffiliated voters are. Is it possible that another silent red wave is coming ?
Its true that the major media is uniformly opposed to Trump and his party, but as Rasmussen also notes, they have less sway on voters than they would hope:

Help me -- and the country -- go and vote for Republicans and keep the Trump America humming.

Okay, I’ll tell you my reasons and then you can tell me yours:
GOP is facing a wipeout in NY and NJ. As many as 8 seats could fall...
Historically the party out of power loses seats anyway...
Between Steyer, Soros, and even the Kochs the Demz have spent so much cash that candidates like Delgado in Faso’s district and Mikie Sherrill in Jersey have made their faces more familiar than Eli Manning’s...
In every high tax state Demz are pressing the tax deduction issue. Even with the tax cut, voters seeing they must pay taxes on 7 to 10K that was previously exempt is a tough issue to counter. And telling people to vote in Reps to.lower their S&L taxes doesnt connect when the new tax math is due in April...
Returning to my starting point...a NY/NJ wipeout lowers the bar for how many seats the Demz need to grab in the other 48.
Those are my agruments. If you have ideas to.make me feel better...tell me.
His events are much larger than they were 2 years ago.
Beyond that I don’t have a lot of empirical evidence, so I’m going on the same evidence I did 2 years ago.
The only time I worried, really worried, was that hour or two hour window around 11 pm? when the networks were scrambling for a way to steal it from us.
ALL Freepers are going to be smiling late Tuesday evening.
Buck up, President Trump will have more congressional support to MAGA after the election.
So much so the Democrats in Congress will tremble in fear every time Pelosi or Chuck Schumer forces them to vote against him.
See my post 41.

Even if many people are not enchanted by Donald Trumps behavior, they are not nearly so much motivated to go take the time and energy to vote just to spite him. And few congressional candidates in themselves are very inspiring, let us be honest.
The way to win the first mid term is to nationalize the election. Like 911 did. Anyone doubt Trump has successfully nationalized this one? Stupid libtards even helped him do it. There is a real possibility we could GAIN seats in the House. Remember polls are off by 4 points at least. Generic Ballots are off by 6-8 points. So just this usual level of intentional error produces very interesting results. Now add the Trump enthusiasm. There may not even BE a Democrat Party on Wednesday. Look at them. They are running a gun grabber in Georgia for Gods sake!
Trump, Rush and Hannity in the same place the day before an election?
Pray for the USS.
No. They want OUR sons' careers ruined 30 years later for something that small?
