Florida voters are still casting ballots in the race for governor, but already some liberals can’t help but ask: Could Democrat Andrew Gillum be their answer to 2020?

The 39-year-old African-American mayor of Tallahassee is in a dead heat with white 40-year-old pro-Trump Republican Ron DeSantis. Gillum lit up national progressives by pitching Texas voters an unabashedly progressive platform, including....

Yes these so called journalists actually said Gillum pitched this crap to TEXAS voters--a betrayal that this is short on fact checking and long on butt kissing.

Gollum has strength because blacks in south Florida are worshipping him. What has he done for the community?

Zero.

Unfortunately, not only blacks but quite a few whites do as well.

Trump gave the GOP a backbone and showed you can fight back against the lies of the left to inflict major damage on them. Liberal politicians are paper tigers. All bluster and lies, and when you take them on directly they will flounder!

Also, there is the little fact that he is 39 and not eligible to run for President until he is 46...but don’t let that stop a reporter that covers politics and should know this from shooting their mouth off.

Dims are all about far left, socialist ID politics.

Gillum is as flawed as it gets.

I’ve read that Tallahassee has the largest crime rate of any large city in Florida. Has that been verified?

“Also, there is the little fact that he is 39 and not eligible to run for President until he is 46...”

Where did you get 46?

Just voted in a heavily democrat part of Florida. There was very low turnout and lot of the people there were in red shirts and hats. They made me take off my MAGA hat - but a lot of people had plain red caps on.

It is a red wave - the dems aren’t turning out today.

I still can’t believe FL would vote for a socialist. So many capitalists there. People move there from all over the country to start businesses or find work.

If Gillum wins, I want to see how all those stupid liberals who moved in from the northeast like seeing their taxes explode, healthcare costs expand or services erode under Medicare for all, and all the other maladies people left the northeast to avoid. It will serve them right for bringing their social warrior attitude and policy to a previously centrist state.

“Gillum lit up national progressives by pitching Texas voters an unabashedly progressive platform....”

Not a very good campaign strategy when one is running for Florida governor.

I think its time we stop calling them ‘Progressives”. They are Socialists or more accurately Marxists. That’s what they believe and that’s what they will work for. Marxists/Socialists, think Cuba, think Venezuela , think China, think Cambodia. THINK!!!
