Syrian Kurds within the SDF have returned to Northern Syria from the Deir Ezzor battle with ISIS. They did so only because Turkey had resumed shelling by tanks and artillery into primarily Kurdish towns in Northern Syria; from Kobani and eastward along the Northern Syrian/Turkish border. And Turkey threatened to invade and take over all of Northern Syria. They even recruited 800 ISIS fighters, from those they planted in Efrin, and moved them to the area North and East of Kobani, Syria to help Turkey invade. And it is documented that Turkey employed 3,000 ISIS in the assault and takeover of peaceful Efrin (Afrin) Syria in January through March of this year.

Although the SDF and Coalition ground assault on ISIS in Eastern Syria near Deir Ezzor has halted, US air attacks on ISIS continues.

Turkey again demonstrates they are not interested in ending ISIS, but only making up excuses to invade Northern Syria and kill Kurds (including civilians, women and children). Usually by saying that YPG/YPJ Kurds are part of PKK. PKK is designated as terrorists, but in fact they battle nobody but Turkey.
