It’s now evident to everyone, the Carlson household is not armed. It’s nearly a nationwide advertisement.

He needs to get armed, and quick.

If a crazy mob breaks down your front door, there is no law in the US that says you cannot start shooting until they drop or head the other way.

If he lives in D.C. or Maryland it may not be that easy.

Tucker Carlson needs to get smart and move his ass out of Washington D.C.

This is why the alleged "conservative media" is so ineffective. It's really just a bunch of effete morons who get on TV and pontificate about conservative politics ... while they insist on living in some of the most reliably left-wing jurisdictions on the planet.

Here's the District of Columbia jury instruction on the use of deadly force:

Instruction 9.503. SELF-DEFENSE—NO DUTY TO RETREAT BEFORE USING DEADLY FORCE

"The law does not require a person to retreat or consider retreating when s/he actually and reasonably believes that s/he is in danger of death or serious bodily harm and that deadly force is necessary to repel that danger. But the law does say that a person should take reasonable steps, such as stepping back or walking away, to avoid the necessity of taking a human life, so long as those steps are consistent with the person’s own safety. In deciding whether [name of defendant] acted reasonably, you should therefore consider whether s/he could have taken those steps, consistent with his/her own safety."

However, I will point out that, when you have children to protect and are confronted by a mob (this actually happened to me at the National Zoo in April 2011), you must consider that, if your first shots fail to disperse the mob, that you could increase the danger to the children you must at all costs protect.

We discussed this scenario here at the time it happened to me, and, let's just say, opinions varied widely.

And training for the wife. She needs to be comfortable handling a fire arm. I'm guessing Tucker knows how to handle a gun.

Will Tucker change his political views for his family’s survival?

“the Carlson household is not armed.”

I would think it’s heavily armed, as Tucker is an avid hunter.

Wouldn’t try this at Sean Hannity’s House.
