But, since the thugs are white liberal elites the damn press doesn’t care, Republicans are too milquetoasty to object, and democrats are violent thugs run by crazies...

That was the very first thing I thought about when I heard they were doing this to Tucker Carlson (and family).
IF this had been a CNN host or MSNBC, or even a blatant partisan on the left like Bill Mahar (not that CNN/MSNBC isn’t blatantly partisan) then the rest of the media would rally around calls for the firing of the police chief and why these “white nationalist terrorists” weren’t immediately rounded up, incarcerated, and doxxed on TV.
