Kyrsten Sinema Defeats Martha McSally In Arizona Senate Race
Daily Caller ^ | November 12, 2018 | Jason Hopkins

Democratic congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema has emerged victorious in Arizona’s hotly contested Senate battle, helping her party make gains in the upper chamber of Congress.

Following a hotly contested race where both candidates lead in differing polls, Sinema — Arizona’s 9th Congressional District representative — has defeated Republican congresswoman Martha McSally after nearly a week since Election Day.

The back-and-forth election saw both candidates take the lead at different times before the November elections. McSally trailed Sinema for much of the beginning of the campaign, but saw her numbers rise after Sinema — a former activist against the Iraq and Afghanistan war — dealt with numerous embarrassing headlines emanating from her past.

McSally originally led in the vote count. However, Sinema was able to rack up mail-in votes following Election, eventually surpassing her Republican opponent.

Before becoming a U.S. representative, Sinema was involved in numerous protests against the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, with some of her past actions resurfacing. In 2003, a group she co-founded distributed flyers that depicted U.S. soldiers as skeletons. During a radio interview in 2003, Sinema is on record saying she didn’t care if Americans took up arms to join the Taliban. McSally, on the other-hand, was fiercely attacked for her vote in the House to repeal Obamacare, a law she has long criticized.

“Well, Sean, I did vote to repeal and replace Obamacare on that House bill — I’m getting my ass kicked for it right now because it’s being misconstrued by the Democrats,” McSally said in an interview with Sean Hannity in late October. The Human Rights Campaign 2018 Los Angeles Gala Dinner - Show

The Real Clear Politics average of polls gave McSally a one-point lead in the run up to Election Day. While all within the margin-of-error, three of the latest surveys included the RCP average showed McSally ahead.

The Associated Press called the election on Monday night.

McSally took to Twitter to concede and thanked her supporters.

I heard she was also a lesbian, which probably stopped evangelicals for voting for her.

Too bad, Arizona!!!!

Sinema is a freak who never has a good word to say about her own State, even though she was born there. Now she’s supposed to represent Arizona in the U.S. Senate! PHOOEY!!!!

143k votes not counted yet and McSally conceded? wow I dislike her even more now. not a fighter at all. she doesn’t fight the fraud, she bails before all the votes counted. what a lazy candidate she was, people died for her ability to be on the ballot and she doesn’t even stand up for herself or the final votes. hope she fades into oblivion quickly and God raises up some serious God and constitution loving candidates.

You needed a Dan Crenshaw type running for Senate. A handsome war hero with a great smile, a winning personality and an eye patch.

I am firmly convinced that Hillary was so sure she would beat Trump, that she called off the cheaters for that night. They didn’t disappear, they just poked their heads up big time on 11/06/2018. The time for voting is past sadly. You just cannot beat a rigged game.

And another point: Arizona voters STATEWIDE, voted down the Renewable Energy Standards Initiative proposition, by a 2 to1 margin. So, the Citizens voted against the Environmentalists, but FOR Sinema??? Stolen Senate seat.....plain and simple.

Pinal got done today.

From Pinal:
November 12, 2018 at 02:19 PM All early ballots have been tabulated. We have approx. 6,000 provisional ballots and hope to process and finish them on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Pima is done today. Doesn't look like they have anything left to count.

Yuma still showing not done. but the web site hasn't been updated in days. Not much mat left on that bone anyway.

Well there was that 2 year marriage thing where she and her attorney drove to another county to have annulled. Seems that county does not have open records.
