Could be. Leach was an assistant at OU, Gundy may have been there at the same time.
I think the source of confusion about Gundy and Leach might be that brother Cale Gundy joined Bob Stoops’ coaching staff at the same time as Mike Leach, and was the RB coach for Leach’s brief tenure at OU.
Also guys, JMHO... Not to denigrate Mike as a person or as a coach, but...
