The Czech government has decided the country will stay out of a United Nations pact promoting an international approach to safe and orderly migration. Wednesday’s decision comes after Prime Minister Andrej Babis vehemently opposed the document, saying it poses a threat for his country’s security and sovereignty.
Babis has argued the U.N. pact that is the subject of an adoption meeting set for Dec. 11-12 in Marrakech, Morocco, is dangerous even though it’s nonbinding because “it, in fact, defines migration as a basic human right.”

I don’t know what the economies of E Europe are like, but boy how i’d love to see them catch up to W Europe.

I wonder how that would affect the world economy if productive people moved to the East-bloc and took their assets with them.
Czechia is doing very well. Nearly the same per capita GDP as Italy now, but lower cost of living, so long as they continue to reject adoption of the Euro.

You have a right to leave your homeland. You do not have a right to go just anywhere.
The way things are going on in Europe, it would not be a bad idea for Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary to form “New Warsaw Pact”
This would protect them from EU and it’s suicidal migration policies. Russia would appreciate the buffer against NATO.
Maybe East Germany should leave Germany and join too...

They already have, it’s called the Visegrád Group. Slovakia is a member too.
The Crusades were fought because Muslims wouldn’t let Christians visit the holy sites in the Holy Land. Lefties think the Crusades were an abomination. Now they want Muslims to be able to take over Europe without Europeans getting a say. That’s just fine to lefties.

It amazes me, that the people who were my mortal enemy — the Eastern Bloc — are now the only people who are defending Western values.
I am so glad to hear that there is another alliance. East Europe must stick together.
