These are the people of Mexico, not the govt. Perhaps law-abiding patriotic Mexican citizens resent this flow of illegal immigrants into their nation as much as the citizens of every other nation does. Maybe they hate the cartels and the human trafficking.

Yeah but those same law-abiding Mexicans’’ don't seem to have a problem breaking our laws as long as they're getting in here and not anyone else. That's what's really at play here-money. Mexico alone pulls billions out of this nations economy and sends it back in remittances. I believe it's the number one source of capital keeping Mexico afloat. They don't want any other Latino country cutting into that. I've worked with Mexicans and Latinos from all over Central and South America. What burns me up is how Americans are branded racists concerning all of these people but the racism they have for each other is astounding! Mexicans consider themselves at the top of the heap because they have a border with us which in their minds makes them Americans and ergo they have first dibs on getting in here and if they can keep anyone else out, they do. I hate them.
