Burger King won’t give you any unless you demand it from the cashier.

I had to tell my BK drive-through person not to put any in my bag; they'd always put 4-8 of them in otherwise.

“Nobody...I mean nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog.”

That's what I told my grandkids! They do it anyway.

I asked one BK drive-thru clerk if there was ketchup in the bag. He got indignant with me and screamed “Condiments are provided ON REQUEST ONLY!!!”

Arby’s on the other hand loads me up with enough ketchup and sugar packets to last a month.

What brand is the ketchup? I’m guessing it’s not Heinz. We know which Democrat benefits from Heinz sales.

Even as an adult, I still think ketchup tastes yucky, but will tolerate it on meatloaf and occasionally french fries if they are too greasey.............B^)

Parent Tim Petrou called the condiment cap "a little ridiculous." He said kids "should be allowed to have ketchup."

My kid should be allowed to have all the ketchup he wants. If he throws away three packs of ketchup what’s the big deal? It don’t cost nothin.

Government is paying for it so what do I care?

The Free Lunch Program was a BIG mistake from the beginning. If people are not responsible for their children’s welfare, feeding and clothing they become less interested in their welfare.

Just look at this issue in the sense of parents being responsible for their children. Someone that is not the child’s parent (the school) is trying to limit the amount of food that their child will receive at someone else’s expense (tax payers) and parents are outraged.

Why should any parent be upset that anyone is declining to feed their child if the parent is not paying for that food?

I haven’t eaten ketchup on anything since I was a kid.

My husband used to put it on his fried eggs. Yuk!

To each his own,I guess.

Yep, my grandma told me that they would also use the ketchup as sauce for pasta in the depression. She called it “Irish Spaghetti”.

Lot of truth to that. OTOH, why should the school be making such decisions?

Two packets equal 8 carbs which comes from sugar. What happened to the outrage that kids are fat and eat too much sugar?

They should be outraged over the lack of proper education.

Our local school banned ketchup packets when the boys decided it’d be fun to sneak them into the restroom and squirt them everywhere and put them under the seat so when someone sat down they squirted on the person.

They used to do the same thing in East Germany.
The Food Network ran a piece about it.

"I didn’t like Ketchup as a kid, so there must be others who don’t, so get the kids who don’t want ketchup to get some and give it to those who do.............."

Or they could sell them like cigarettes in prison.
