Conservatism probably doesn't win every time it's tried, but that's a good place from which to craft a platform that's understood by the populace.
Based on what I've seen, the GOP message is milquetoast, thanks to their lies over the years. National GOP pretty much does the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce, in bringing in cheap labor for their constituents.
This is my stunned face contemplating DemoKKKrats “winning” in Northern Mexifornia.
All the rest is quacking from the AP and from the Kabuki-dancing Uniparty "Republicans" in Northern Mexifornia.

My husband and I lived, worked and owned a business in OC for 45 years before retiring and getting out of the state and never ran into anyone who voted the demon-rat ticket. Can barely talk to some of our old neighbors/friends who have gone over to the dark side. Just don’t understand it so I don’t make the effort to call them anymore. There is no reasoning with them and no sense in continuing to try!
The Chairman of CA GOP should be an Asian-American. I think GOP has a shot with Asian-Americans. They’re industrious and their values tend to be Conservative. No reason for them to remain Blue especially since Affirmative Action works against them.

The way forward is via I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40 and I-80. Skip I-5...it just leads to commie-light.
The founder's held an essential conceit, that they could craft a new, rationale form of government that rejected the tenets of 10k years of established experience in the form of aristocratic monarchy.
The appeal, of course, to the revolutionaries (similar in type to the better posters @ FR - such as yourself) floating in the 1-2 std deviation range (115-125 IQ), was why should a dissolute, wasteful and frankly embarrassing king (George III) be king? Why not form a 'more perfect union' of educated, thoughtful and rationale men to govern their own affairs?
On its face, it appears very logical, no? But what wasn't explicitly mentioned was that there was no way to prevent expansion of the franchise and dilution of the vote over a long term period. Oh, sure, Adams, Franklin, Jefferson et al issued their warnings, but it's like handing Corvette keys to a teenage and warning them about driving too fast, they knew without a constant a complete lock-down, we'd end up where we are today.
The end result is that the financial/media conglomerates set the narrative and control the process. In effect, we have a new monarchy, except the productive class are now the subservient donkeys. So, the question is: knowing what we know now, would patriots once again attempt to establish a republic, or somehow modify existing systems that protected both their civil rights and economic interests?
In the end, this isn't entirely rhetorical either, because the question will ultimately be resolved as the former masters of their domain are forced into ever narrowing political representation aka "The Reset".
That is correct.
The Democrats have a philosophy, which is neatly summarized by the twin French Revolution/Bolshevik Revolution concepts of General Will/Revolutionary Vanguard.
By their philosophy, when they win by vote counting, everything is fine. But when they lose, it's either because "every vote" was not counted, OR because the working class has a false consciousness imposed by the ruling class, so that "corrective measures" after the voting is finished are not only legitimate but actually create a higher form of "democracy".
I don't see how we are going to get out of this without bloodshed.

GOP was told “here is the future if you fail to act” and they shrugged it off and failed to act. And were wiped out.
The only way forward is a full audit of the election to expose the fraud.
Oregon is now California, with a Super-majority of Democrats in its legislature.
California is the garbage crap hole in America. Filled with communists Democrats and illegals.

Marshall Tuck and Steve Poisner ran as independents for state wide office.
Marshall Tuck got 50+% and beat the Democrat (Union) candidate for school Superintendent.
Steve Poisner got 49.5% of the vote (lost) for Insurance Commissioner.
John Cox got 40% for Governor.
It seems their is a about a 10% penalty for being a republican in this state.
Why? Hispanics, especially recent immigrants tend to hate the GOP, Massive Fraud voting and a Weak/Stupid GOP party.
The voters rejected state wide rent control so its not hopeless, but it is very bleak.
CA is a cancer on the nation. It’s government is tyranical and spends recklessly. There had to be tons of fraud and illegal aliens voting in elections. Because the census counts the number of people in district instead of citizens, CA is over-represented in the electoral college and the number of congressional districts.
But, CA is getting serious about its Calexit. It’s government is actually establishing diplomatic relationships with China and Russia out side the control of the Federal government. China has an outsized economic interest in Hollywood, CA real estate as well as western mineral resources.
Trump probably needs to seek a confrontation with CA. It’s a sanctuary state and they are thwarting US immigration law by allowing the nation to be overrun by illegals. Their Chinese connections are beyond troubling. It could come down to a CW with the U.S. occupying CA.
The white American Liberal is what is destroying and will continue to destroy America by divide and conquer and the spread of the Liberalism virus.
We have 40 million people here. That is 12% of the US population.
How many should we have?
I don’t like what’s happened to my state anymore than any other conservative Republican, but like it or not, the Constitution provides that we have this many reps.
Do the math.
The selling of your house could but a mansion in Texas or Florida or probably 35 states in the nation. That’s one area conservatives who are left in California are very lucky. Sell your house for 2 million and be set for life. I’ve know a few who sold their house and moved to Florida and they have zero financial worries.
