Kind of like a set of rules for sixth graders.
To: Kaslin

what we used to refer to as “journalism” ceased to function decades ago; it has certainly been dead for the last 10 years.

"...yield the floor / surrender the microphone..."
The microphone should suspended on a heavy steel cable connected to a strong boom. If they keep talking, the microphone gets reeled.
If they grasp onto the microphone, carry them (high above the gathered journalists) and lower the jabbering nitwit into waiting security at back of the room.

As so often happens, the misbehavior of one screws it up for the many. But watch, follow up questions will become two distinct questions unless denied by the moderator consistently.

And call on Acosta first, one and done, no follow up. Any violations, have his ass hauled out right away, then proceed. Repeat at every press conference until he shows he has learned the desired behavior.
Its called “breaking him”.

(As always, IMHO.)
To: Kaslin
Should have included:
5. When asking a question, no statements are allowed, just the question.
6. If not directly called on, asking a question out of turn is not allowed.
To: Kaslin
Good luck with the one question, occasional follow-up rule.
Hope they enforce it.
