to see what sales they may be offering, and then compare with other vendors.
The time to prepare for any crisis is not when you are already knee-deep into it,
but rather to have foresight and prepare for your own security, and that of your family,
and then, if you have the ability, to prepare with a trusted community of similar thinking individuals.
If you don't have a trusted community, then try to develop one !
It can be done by a series of gradual, discrete and non-invasive questioning, after a certain level of trust is developed.

Prepare while you can. Grow your own food now, and learn how to preserve it for the winter. It will be healthier than what you buy at the grocery store, give you a stash of food for emergencies, and save your life if God Forbid, we ever get to the same state as Venezuela.
