John Kerry joins Hillary warning Europe of threat of immigration(!?!?)

It’s starting to look like some members of the Democrat establishment understand that open borders is a losing issue. It would be too dangerous to take on the issue domestically, so acknowledging that Europe is being harmed by mass immigration/asylum and turning to politicians who will control the borders is a first step. When Hillary Clinton warned of the danger of Europe turning to populists in order to stop the influx, it was startling. But now, it is a trend.

John Kerry has joined fellow failed presidential nominee Clinton in warning Europe that its refugee policies have

Kerry and Shrillary have both been big open borders advocates in the past. They are only (possibly) changing their tune now for “political” reasons. Well, yeah, they say as much. Not because they want to stand for the right thing.....

It’s completely self serving. When leaders that look like Trump start popping up around the world, rats like these two have to say something, hypocritical as it may be.

Yes do you see their scam? They want to oppose European open borders which they can do nothing about, so people will forget the democrats are creating American open borders.

Pretty funny, considering that Hillary planned on continuing Obama’s massive importation of Muz if she won the Presidency (in ‘16): https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2016/10/04/critics-hillary-clinton-has-plan-to-flood-u-s-with-muslim-refugees/

Guess she figures that positioning herself to the LEFT of the Dem candidate field for 2020 would be impossible, so she took a look at the recent polls showing that immigration is the electorate’s #1 concern and thus decided to position herself as tough on that issue. ....as if anyone will believe her.

Looks like we know the next new fake value of the left. What was racist last week is the winning strategy this week.

It’s even dawning on the Democrats that importing killers and rapists may not be a good idea.

On the other hand, there is a striking similarity in both the Clinton and Kerry announcements. Both came under the auspices of the UK Guardian, which is pushing the issue of European populists gaining victories. ...because both of them waited until after the midterms (with the cooperation of the Guardian that withheld those comments before the vote was in), it suggests that a strategy is being implemented.

Most certainly it is. The issue is, as the article mentioned, numero uno in popular opinion in the States. And Trump has it captured, and their reflexive opposition to everything Trumpian has caught them in the wildly unpopular position, and worse from the party point of view, its radical wing is in that position and doubling down.

It amounts to this: Hillary and John Effin' are triangulating to keep their own candidacies alive in 2020 as alternatives to the bomb-throwers who are currently taking over the party. And they're going up against Trump on his strongest issue. Time to temporize.

They see no contradiction whatsoever in supporting borders for Europe, but not for the US.

None.

They see it as apples and goose down.

Yes Virginia, they really are this stupid.

It’s starting to look like some members of the Democrat establishment understand that open borders is a losing issue.

For Europe. Note that they still haven't said a word about it for the US.

But if they have a single brain cell left among them, they will - open borders may appeal to the millenials and other assorted fools of the Left, but the issue is a loser even for Democrats, as poll after poll has shown. They could do some damage in the 2020 elections by also calling for tighter border controls, and the Republicans will have no one to blame but themselves - they've had two years of control over the WH and both houses of Congress to deliver on the border wall, and have done nothing.

What they are both saying is that the Globalists have moved too fast for now, and need to slow down until the European populace forgets to worry about themselves again.

Don’t let yourself feel too secure about this. Marxists can hold two directly contrary opinions at the same time and actually believe them both to be correct. In fact its required of them.
