NEW YORK (AP) — Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer, has pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about work he did on a Trump real estate project in Russia. Cohen made a surprise appearance Thursday in a New York courtroom to enter the plea. He admitted making false statements in 2017 to a Senate intelligence committee about a plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Cohen said he lied about the timing of the tower negotiations and other details to be consistent with Trump's "political message."

If the report is containing facts, which is a big ‘if’, the real story is likely there were discussions about shutting down talks of building in Moscow well before 2016, that these discussions were ongoing in January 2016 when Cohen thought it was a dead deal, and were formally terminated in June 2016 which Mueller used to badger and cajole Cohen with.
Cohen was not a lawyer for Trump’s construction company and he certainly wasn’t involved in construction proposals. Everything he heard about concerning construction proposals and project was second hand.
Mueller needs to hang, seriously.
Yesterday McConnell shuts down Flake’s Muleface protection bill. This morning, Cohen surprisingly appears in Court to cop this plea which specifically mention “Russia”

Mueller threatens an admitted lying lawyer with being thrown in prison and separated from his family for the rest of his life unless he tells them what THEY want to hear so they can overthrow the President of the United States. ROTFL. Even dumbass Hollywood wouldn’t touch this script. Too unbelievable. He’s lied his ass off from the beginning and now he’s telling the truth? I don’t think so.
This is all a ploy by Mueller to justify the continuance of the investigation.

Mueller and his band of 17 Angry Democrats have nailed yet another Trump associate... for a heinous process crime.
It should be added, they haven’t indicted anyone on collusion or corruption charges.

This could be a result of Mueller squeezing Cohen until he says what Mueller wants him to say. I think Cohen at this point would accuse his own mother to stay out of prison.

So what? Trump the candidate could still run his own business and pursue deals. There was no guarantee he was going to get the nomination or be elected President.

In June of 2016, I believe there were 17 candidates debating and debating and insulting each other....so...so what if he was considering building a Tower in Russia. He has Towers and real estate all over the world.
