Half of its probably being stolen, either by the carriers themselves or passersby.
Or just not delivered by lazy good for nothings that cover for each other from the top down.
I am betting that it will be found in a sinkhole or other deep hole.

One postal carrier, when confronted with his crime, burying it in a hole, was asked why?
“I just didn’t feel like delivering it.”.............at least his answer was honest..................
