Please, do not misunderstand. I do not in any way, manner, or form, support what she was doing. She is at minimum a grifter, and probably far worse.
But she can verbalize her support for the illegal border crossers without going to jail.

As we have seen banning free speech is much more dangerous than allowing it. I have not seen those on the “Right” espousing such a ban. Every time the Left opens a Pie-Hole more outrageous statements are extruded.
I'm guessing this is the US code that was struck down?
8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens
(a) Criminal penalties... (1)(A) Any person who... (iv)encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law... shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).
