I think the Rats will try and do impeachment. They will do it for two reasons.
1. 30% - 50% of the rat base is crazy & they demand it! Many new Rat congresscritters owe their seats to that base.
2. There us a desire tar trump (actually any Republican will do!) with the scarlet “I”. of impeachment. Conviction in the Senate is a know non-starter just like with Slick. That’s the point “just like Slick”, draw an equivalency to Slick.
Item # 2 is important for them. That way when anyone points out the rampant corruption in the Rat politico ranks. All apparently acceptable to Rat voters! Where Slick & Hellary set the Gold standard of that corruption. The Rats can claim “See they’re all the same! No difference between Rat & GOP’ers as far as corruption goes! They all do it!”. Sad thing there is just enough corruption by GOP’es to make it plausible. However GOP’er corruption is penny-ante compared to the Rats & the brazenness of the Slick & Hellary. However that requires to much discernment on the part of the average voter to make the distinction sharp enough to make the Rat claim hollow. You only need a simple majority to impeach. The majority that elected Peolosi would have no trouble voting impeachment.
Well then they will lose the house because they will impeach.

but since we lost a gazillion seats 3 years after election night was over due to finding missing ballots, it will be hard to take back the house

Well the thing is they can try all they want to impeach him, but don’t forget we have the Senate, and the Senate is the one that removes the President. This is not going to happen.

Our R representative (who was no prize) lost to a female D. In January, I plan on contacting her to tell her that if she pursues the witch hunt on Trump, an assault on the 2nd amendment, and/or further increases in government spending and taxation, I will go door to door to see that she is defeated in the next election.
Who cares? The GOP wants no wall, high migration and the replacement of Americans just as much as the Democrats.

If this is true, it represents a voice of sanity in the Democrat Party. Impeachment proceedings would surely backfire on the Democrats just as it did on the Republicans in 1996.
The real teaching moment here is not for the Democrats though, it’s for the Republicans, especially the “law-and-order conservatives”. This includes many of the most fervent, self-proclaimed Trump supporters - the “lock her up” chanters - whose sole focus is locking up Obama’s Spygate coconspirators.
These self-described conservatives hated Jeff Sessions with a passion, and seem determined to try and shame Trump into making the exact same mistake that the Democrats are now making with Russia Collusion - the exact same mistake the Democrats would be making if they were to pursue impeachment proceedings against Trump - the exact same mistake the Republicans made in 1996.
Fortunately, Trump is not a fool - he won’t try to lock up his political adversaries. He knows the American people are naturally suspicious of politicians who dare to use the powers of their office to try and criminalize their political opposition.
History will show that Obama’s abuses of power while in office have badly damaged the Democrat Party’s political credibility for generations to come.
Trump is absolutely right to dodge that bullet and ignore the “lock her up” crowd. He’s not going to come right out and say it - but he has zero interest in using his DOJ to try and lock up Obama coconspirators.
Each time he appoints a new AG, fresh hopes of a political purge will be raised - but soon dashed.
Trump will continue to drain the swamp - by pragmatic policy changes that put America first - by strategic political branding that exposes the Left’s weaknesses - by cultural realignment of the bureaucracies that disenfranchises corruption - and by simple attrition.
Trump will not pursue criminal prosecution of Democrat ex-officials. Yes, a few low level Democrats might go to jail for process crimes or financial irregularities - but no higher level offcials will be targeted - if any ever were locked up, they would soon receive full pardons after becoming martyrs for the Left.
