IF it is true that Trump was not told of the impending arrest of Sabrina Meng [Wangzhou], the Huawei exec, would that have anything to do with this?

We do know that Bolton knew - hmmm...

Granted that Trump can’t talk to everyone at once, esp. when on the road / at a major summit, and the arrest would not rise to the level of a National Security emergency. But unless a huge rift had occurred, Gen. Kelly would surely “always” have the President’s ear. Hmmm...

Nobody at any level of federal government, and a significant number of states as well, have any intention of supporting Trump's MAGA policies. Their entire game is to achieve a position of political power in order to accrue wealth and control. It's as valid a strategy for proglibs as the dream of starting and growing a business is to conservatives.

The founders, by replacing the monarchy, substituted instead a form of government dependent on the moral standards of men. It has never worked, and it's being demonstrated again right now that it still doesn't work. As we've seen, the body politic is easily corrupted via open franchise by offering the mob the opportunity to rob the public purse.

This is why the GOPe stays above the fray; they understand the built in shortcomings, and have (wisely) determined that it's best just to ride the gravy train. Even better, they don't have to do anything - the proglibs do all the hard work.

The only people who truly support Trump are those in fear of becoming the new domestic help. Once one has tasted freedom, it's awfully hard going back to a life of subservient obedience. The people were warned, but many still didn't listen.

Note that I have some doubts this report is true, but several major news outlets are going with it. I’d love to see them with egg on their faces, again. We shall see.

about half the people on FR should just admit they’s still NeverTrumpers and zot themselves

I do not know if it is that high, but there are a lot of them. I know a bunch of people like this in person as well. Each and every one of them believe that they are “better” conservatives than anyone else. Face it people... Ted Cruz would not have even been reelected to the Senate without President Trump's assistance... how anyone can still believe that he ever have had a chance in the presidential election against Hillary and the DNC is beyond me.

Four star generals don’t like to take orders from anyone.
They get used to everybody bowing before them and can’t handle it when they become an average citizen again.

“How long after he resigns will he sign his book deal?”

Is this where we’ll find out that Trump puts ketchup on his eggs?

Hear hear, I totally agree with you and I am sure we both note that every time a “headline” like this appears they flock to it like flies

Sickening

And why are they still here and active? During the campaign time outs and banishments ruled the day.
