Reminds me of the Akron airport in the 70s. The PA system was always announcing “Mr. Man. Mr. Harry Man to the white courtesy telephone, please.

The Simpsons had an episode where Bart phones Moe at the bar and asks for Amanda Hugnkiss. Moe yells out "I want Amanda Hugnkiss" and the place breaks up.

We have come a long way from the ‘prank call’ to a store being....

Do you have Prince Albert in a can?

WHY YES,

Let him out he can’t breathe.

Prock says he cannot believe the employees with the outstanding warrants were still allowed to work at the fast food restaurant. "Really going through their background checks, if they're not done thoroughly, there's loopholes and there's slippages," Prock said.

The 11-year-old daughter was opening the hamburger for her 4-year-old brother. ... But within seconds, the girl saw something suspicious.

Smart kid. Well done, my dear!

How do you know it wasn’t the parents who set it up?

Because one of the people arrested had more of the same type of pill found in the meal. I suppose the parents could have gone inside and planted them, but I seriously doubt that happened.

I was at DFW in the 1980s when the page for "Spuds Mackenzie" was announced.

We were walking by a shoe-shine stand and a customer said something along the lines of "announcer being clueless".

I asked my colleagues who "Spuds Mackenzie" was.

One explained "Budweiser's ...party animal...", and I explained that "I don't 'do' Budweiser, except for the honey-roasted peanuts..." (And its non-alcohol beer is pretty good).

As for the sheriff, if he didn't change it at 18, he's not going to change it now.

When I flunked out of college I got a job at a Swimming Pool Company for a couple of months. The owner would not hire thieves but he did hire murderers who had served their time. We had a few interesting and enlightening lunch breaks building an Olympic sized pool in Etown, KY. I mostly kept my mouth shut.
