You don’t need a thick blanket of any substance in order to warm the earth. Remember, we are talking parts per million. What keeps the earth from becoming a frozen snowball now? Green house gasses. Notably CO2 and CH4. About 715 million years ago, something, possibly due to rapid silicate weathering on the continents, caused a drop in CO2 levels and this in turn caused a plummet in the Earth’s average temp and thus was born Snowball Earth. For about 120 million years, Earth remained that way till volcanoes had pushed enough CO2 into the atmosphere to warm the Earth.

Sorry that is silly- it still amounts to just 0.00136% of the atmosphere- stating it differently, as ppm- doesn’t change that fact- and yes, you do need a thick blanket to warm a globe and 0.00136% does not provide anywhere near enough to trap enough heat to warm the globe- our atmosphere at one time had over 800 ppm and life thrived- i suggest climatedepot.org to find out some of these facts- they are chockerblock full of scientific evidence refuting ‘man-caused climatechange’

you do know that in the past ppm was around 800 ppm right? Life thrived then- We’re nowhere near a ‘tipping point’ now-
