What good is having a military if they are not for defending the country?
The border was going to be attacked. It was prudent of Trump to put troops there before the invaders arrived.
When it comes to deploying military force ANYWHERE, there is insufficient justification for a large number of snowflakes, who regard the US military to be a force of oppression, and wish it into nonexistence, by defunding all military operations and using the “peace dividend” to expedite their other government-financed schemes.
No pure motives there. Resistance is still the mode in which the Democrats wish to operate.

Well, it’s unfortunate that Smith is ‘extremely displeased’ with the troop deployment to the border. Any time that the military can train in an active situation is a smart expenditure. The presence of the troops on the border, even if not seen, proved enough of a deterrant that caravans are turning around. Another justification for the expenditure. Not to mention the troops were doing things that the BP didn’t have time to do, seeing how their days are occupied with catching and processing border intruders. Three logical and successful results. So all in all, not only a good expenditure but a smart one. Not that a politically bubbled animal would understand half of that.
It’s obvious that they care about illegals more than American citizens.
