To quote the late and certainly great, Benny Hill, “But, I LIKE breaking wind!”
CNN would be OK with that, too.
Perhaps someone should go undercover and go to the CNN lunchroom and see what they are serving up. Could be interesting to find out.
You first, CNN, and start with live maggots.
If not in caves, they'd rather we live in the sort of hovels you might find in an African village...perhaps a hut made of cinder blocks, with simple mats tossed on a dirt floor for bedding.
The Left would be quite content if we reduced our lifespans by 20 years; it would solve all of their perceived problems: climate change, health care, general sustainability, and so on.
As far as I know, they don't allow the exemption for growing or raising bugs.
So we will continue raising beef for hamburger and juicy steaks.
The only way these idiots will get people to eats bugs is if they overthrow the government and institute socialism or communism in its place. Then they can eliminate meat and force the population to exist on greens and bugs.
If they ever get that far. Armed resistance and revolution seems to fit into the equation right before being forced to eats insects. "Not over my bone-in ribeye!"
No wonder people aren't on board with "fixing" climate change, instituting carbon credits (see France and their brief glimpse at a gas tax) and giving more money to the elites to fatten their waistlines.
If they have to eats bugs to keep the temperature from rising 1 degree over a 100 years, guess what they won't be eating?
If I was a betting man, my money is still with the meat.

They can just cut out the subsidies to yourself and your wife for your farm, which is something you don’t deserve as it’s just another form of welfare, and see how they like eating bugs.
Two birds with one stone - those who depend on government handouts like yourself, and those who depend on those who depend on those who depend on those who depend on gov’t handouts.
You are aware, of course, that no mammals are capable of manufacturing Vitamin B-12 in their bodies.
Any B-12 contained in a mammal (or fish, reptile, bird - or indeed any multicellular organism) was obtained by the animal by ingesting a source of B-12.
B-12 is created only by certain bacteria and archeae.
Regards,
But without the agricultural exemptions for raising livestock, we would still raise cows. We're retired and raising beef cattle is fun.
Since we sell the calves at auction every year, we get enough income to pay the full property taxes.
Oh, and by the way, get back to me when they start forcing people to eats bugs.
I don't expect to hear from you any time soon.
All them harvested grapes for wine production has lots of creepy crawlys hoin in the vats. Smushed and othetwise...
I know. I rarely imbibe but when I do. Its distilled spirits.
There is a 60 second laser treatment to cure leftism. A 100 watt invisible wavelength laser beam pointed into their eyes (from a safe distance of say 500 yards) will render them permanently unable to envy what you have. They can't envy their neighbors much if they cannot see the new boat and SUV in the driveway.

Personally, I prefer to let chickens do my bug eating for me.
Amazon sells cricket “flour”. Low carb and high protein!
My preferred way to eat bugs is to feed them to the chickens, then eat the chicken eggs.
But a close second favorite involves feeding them to a trout first :)
I hear they have Palmetto bug ranches in Florida. In Oklahoma, any householder can start up an insect homestead farm by simply doing nothing. Don’t even have to buy any “livestock”. We have artisanal bugs, here, too.
The natural red in many drinks, candy, and food comes from crushing female cochineal insects.
