Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) said Wednesday that he "would love to be able to regulate the content of speech," but it would be illegal to do so due to the First Amendment.
"I would love to be able to regulate the content of speech," Lieu said Wednesday on CNN. "The First Amendment prevents me from doing so. And that's simply a function of the First Amendment. But I think over the long run, it's better that government does not regulate the content of speech."

the transition from natural rights, ordered liberty, limited government to force, statism and socialism requires censorship, gun controls, and wage and price controls, and environmental controls.
