Everything is twisted around! The wrong people are being destroyed and shamed in the courtrooms! Am I delusional to expect real justice? IOW, WTF?
There are certain scenarios of justice that I just give up on ever expecting to happen. I can’t spend my whole waking life in a state of anticipation. I have to walk away from the latest wreckage, still somewhat hopeful, but much more wary.

When the rule of law is not enforced, society spirals out of control and ruled by the lawless.

This is what happens.

The country is now being run by the ruthless.

May God have mercy on His children in the United States of America.

So, I’m not getting it.

Flynn plead to a process crime of “lying” to investigators during an impromptu interview yet the judge berates him for being a paid-lobbyist for a foreign government?

Jack Posobiec is tweeting a completely different analysis. He suggests that Judge Sullivan is trying to goad Lieutenant General Flynn into withdrawing his guilty plea.

I am not watching, so I have no way of knowing what really is going on.

So the way I read this is that Mueller had this Foreign Agent charge hanging over Flynn’s head the entire time and used this to get Flynn to admit to Lying to the FBI. Mueller basically told Flynn to either cooperate or we will expose you as a traitor. So when Flynn tried to expose Mueller’s entrapment tactics at the last minute, Mueller then turned around and exposed the Turkey situation and basically put the nail in his coffin.

This is insane. It can only mean that Mueller’s thugs have threatened Flynn with additional charges if he doesn’t plead guilty. How else can you explain Flynn declining the Judge’s offer to withdraw his plea.

Don’t really understanding the hopeium here in Flynns case. He pled guilty. All these musings seem to overlook that fact.

Lets be honest,Trumps Presidency is over, he’s now just a place holder. R’s never had any intention of fixing the 2 things we elected them to, the wall and Obamacare.

Maybe 1 more SCJ.

Not necessarily.

Judge Sullivan May feel anger toward the General for his relationship with Turkey, about which I know very little, and don’t much care. Irrelevant.

However, that is not the issue currently before the court. The issue is whether General Flynn should be permitted to withdraw his guilty plea, on the basis of egregious behavior by the prosecution. None of which has a thing to do with Turkey.

The first thing you learn in law school is how to spot the actual issues.

Bungling Bob withheld exculpatory evidence, not just unethically. The courts have long held that this is criminal conduct.

The Super Agents, convinced the General that he did not need an attorney present during questioning, because their little chat had “no legal significance”.

General Flynn thought he was brought in for a routine meeting in his capacity as incoming NSA.

The 302 taken during the actual interview by these highly trained experts in reading non verbal cues and detecting deception stated clearly and unequivocally that no signs of deception were observed.

That’s the information that the Pettifogger-in-Chief was hoping the judge wouldn’t see.

That is what is in front of Judge Sullivan. Not to say that judges don’t sometimes veer way off track. They do.

But, they are expected to put personal feelings off to the side. The options he has would be to permit the General to withdraw his guilty plea. That would force the Mule Team to actually have to go to trial, at which they suck; or let it drop.

Or, the judge can dismiss with or without prejudice.

The one thing he *must* to to maintain a shred of credibility is sanction the crap out of Bobby the Mule.

Flynn is not helping himself. He keeps saying he knowingly lied to the FBI, and knew it was a crime. He said that to the Judge. Was he representing Turkey while he was working in government...

He has yet to fight back and say he was coerced, or say that his son was threatened with prison by Mueller’s goons.

So he may have a deal with Mueller, some where. But he can’t make it up about Trump collusion because it doesn’t exist.

I do not understand his alleged crime. As national security advisor to then President elect Trump, Flynn met with the Russian ambassador...wouldn’t that be part of his job? It was after the election so what colusion was there? As for lying to the FBI wasn’t that based on an interview with fired and discredited agent Strok and the actual notes from that interview strangely lost? Didn’t Hillary also lie to the FBI about her illegal server and violate the Espionage Act and she hasn’t been indicted for anything. We are living in a police state where the government can selectively prosecute anybody.

Don’t know how you can say that. Here you have a judge giving the victim MULTIPLE (at least three) opportunities to challenge the plea, to say he was railroaded, and Flynn rejected all three.

There is a reason for that: he is not guilty of perjury re “muh Russia” but he is guilty of the one charge on Turkey of FARA violations (which no one in the fake news media OR conservative news media) want to talk about, for different reasons. The fake news ignores it cuz it’s not “Russia,” conservatives ignore it cuz it means Flynn violated FARA (a more serious charge than perjury).

Flynn was a life-long DEMOCRAT and Obama appointee. Thank God team Trump gave him the boot. Manafort was another piece of crap with ties to Russia.

"Flynn was fired in February 2017 after misleading Vice President Pence and other officials about his contacts with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak."
