The judge was giving all the signs that he was going to sentence Flynn to prison time. Gave him a chance to postpone to maximize his cooperation.

Mulehead has Flynn on Turkey (hence his ongoing testimony in the Turkish FARA case). He has nothing on Flynn for “muh Russia.”
This is why Flynn didn’t want to delay. Sullivan doing everything he can possibly do to let Flynn off. But he needs Flynn’s help in a plea, and if Flynn thinks he is in danger of the FARA Turkish stuff (which he probably is), he will cop the plea.
Even with that Sullivan indicating with his Petraeus comment that he might still dismiss Flynn’s plea and the prosecution’s case.

It was actually treason...the judge used the term treason.
18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason - Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

It appears to me that Judge Sullivan tried to scare Kelly into cooperating further (fabricating) with Mueller.

Indeed it does. "Treason" being the word the judge used (instead of "traitor"), still stands.
It is. No doubt Tony Two-toes has an escape clause.
But that still has no bearing on Flynn. Mulehead has something related to Turkey—big—on Flynn or he would have taken Sullivan’s invitation to challenge the plea.
