Much misplaced anger is visible. President Trump wants the southern border wall; he is being opposed by every interest who doesn’t want it. The people in DC who are opposed to border security, are the people who write the laws. I’m not talking about congress; I’m talking about the real people who actually write the laws, the lobbyists. Right now Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are writing a short-term continuing resolution to fund government and avoid a shutdown.
They know President Trump is quite comfy with a shutdown. Why would republican Mitch McConnell take such an action that puts the republican President in a position of opposition and compromise?
Because he wants to, that’s why.
President Trump said he wouldn’t sign another CR that didn’t fund the border wall. Right now Mitch and Chuck are writing a CR that doesn’t fully fund the border wall. Why would Mitch McConnell do that? Because he want’s to that’s why. UniParty!
Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Paul Ryan are working to put a take it or leave it bill in front of the President and force him to accept it. Republicans currently control the House and Senate. Why would McConnell and Ryan put President Trump into that position? Because they want to, that’s why.
That’s who you should be mad at, not President Trump.
You see, it’s not President Trump who is the issue here; it’s the people who oppose him. Anger toward President Trump is misplaced; but directing all fire against their enemy is what these Machiavellian sorts are professionals at doing. That’s exactly what this plan is designed to do. This is politics.
Who opposes Trump? The people who write the laws.

I’m sorry but this analysis is total nonsense. Republican presidents have pushed conservative bills through even Democrat congresses by pressuring them by threatening not to sign bills by going over their heads to the American people. Trump is caving at the beginning even before the beginning of the Democrat Congress. He should be demanding that mcconnell suspend the rules. I really wonder if they are threatening him regarding impeachment and that he has to go along I really think it’s happening. This is nonsense. He specifically promised to fund the wall following the election he said that was a strategy. He threatened to shut the government down 2 days ago. I didn’t even think that was the best strategy but he said it loud and clear. Now he has caved. He clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing on this and he doesn’t have good people around him to support him.
This is what happens every time—the democrats put up a ridiculous budget that gets them everything they want and nothing Trump wants. Trump talks about a shutdown. then turtle McConnell calls Trump and says don’t do it and Trump gives in.
I am SO FRIGGING SICK of democrats getting everything they want—NPR funding, Mexico wasted aid and Planned parenthood money while we get nothing .

President trump went to every rally and told us that he had been told by the Republican leadership that it would be best to fund the wall after the election. I personally will not watch another one of his rallies after this I don’t know how we can show his face in public at 1 of them.
Democrats don’t have to get a single thing they want the president can veto any of the bills he wants they are loaded with everything Democrats want and he can veto them and tell them that it’s not passing until they put in his wall funding he could veto it just because it contains all their billions for Planned Parenthood and everything else.

Frankly I would take Trump and 10,000 Frenchmen in yellow traffic vests over the losers that infest this side of the aisle. People with no fight, but a smug sense of the superiority of their “convictions” that it is always some other person’s fault that their political wishes didnt just materialize without opposition.
Just a bunch of cowards hiding behind Trump, reverting back to being professional complainers whenever there is any turbulence.

Frankly, I can’t fathom a Democrat Congress and Dem POTUS kicking the can to a GOP Congress. That is an insane idea and would never happen during a Democrat admin in a million years.
You need to stop defending the indefensible. POTUS is walking the plank here and the best thing conservatives can do is tell him to stop before it’s too late. So stop attacking those who are trying to save Trump’s Presidency. Carrying water for Nazi, Chucky, Ryan and The Turtle does Trump no good. Period.
