Flynn is between a rock and a hard place. He pled as he did because the more serious - and provable - chanrge of being an unregistered foreign agent for Turkey - was hung over his head (along with prosecution of his son in connection to the same).
If he withdrew his plea, he’d be charged with that and bankrupted.
Even if he’s ultimately pardoned, he’s gonna be out hundreds of $$$ in legal fees.
BTW: He was set up by McCabe as the result of a personal grudge. McCabe the scum has still not been charged with anything.
I don’t believe that he , or his cohorts will ever be charged with anything. I hoped that they would be and wished that they would be, but I am not expecting it.
My last post should have read that Flynn will be out hundreds of THOUSANDS of $$$ for lawyers fees no matter what happens ....
clearly so, but this judge familiar with the scum prosecutors (but, sadly not the facts of this case) was ready to dismiss, imho.
Then Mueller would option--or not--to go for the foreign agent charge, which Flynn couldn't afford to defend. Since judge Sullivan slandered from the bench with his ignorance of the timing of Flynn's foreign agent service and the resulting bogus accusation, Flynn could win a dismissal. Such infractions usually get a do-over and maybe a fine.
Sad to say, but it's a G-damn department of injustice.

Well then, I guess we should expect the Podestas and the Red Queen to be headed off to jail on charges of being unregistered foreign agents? I mean I hear what you’re saying, but that’s a law that doesn’t get used very often, and when it does it’s usually a fine.
