Agree but history will show that they were Texacans and the white defenders were Texians. Whatever they were called they fought and died with honor. Including a relative of mine, Summers.

The article would leave one to believe there were 600 that died DEFENDING the Alamo. That was the point I was making.

I had a relative of mine die in the Alamo as well. Starr. Every visit to the Alamo is a sobering trip. Such bravery.
