How President Trump Can Fund The Border Wall Without Congressional Funds…
citizenfreepress ^ | December 25, 2018 | Kane

The border wall will be built only if Donald Trump uses executive power to do it. He has the funds available and the authority to build the wall.

The federal government has shut down because Republicans can’t agree on funding for President Donald Trump’s main campaign promise to build a wall on the southern border with Mexico, and Democrats are insisting they will not vote for wall funding. This typical Washington gridlock is surmountable because Trump can build the wall on his own.

A week ago, the White House put out a call to federal agencies to look for “pots of money” in their existing budgets that could be cobbled together to pay for border wall construction. Immediately, Sen. John Thune, the Republican whip in the upper chamber, shot down the idea of shifting funds from executive departments to the border, saying, “I’m not a big fan of moving money.” Like it or not, there are sources of revenue in the executive branch that the president has authority to use without congressional approval. The Department of Agriculture has about $200 billion in outstanding loans for rural development projects such as community buildings, bridges, roads, fire stations, police stations, water projects and barriers such as fencing and walls. These federal loans to local communities have low default rates that are attractive to private-sector investors because they represent large, reliable cash flows — the kind of investments that big money funds desperately desire.

About $50-100 billion worth currently held by USDA are very marketable and attractive commercial paper investments. The rights to collect the remainder of the debt on these loans could be sold to private parties who would pay a premium for such a steady stream of cash payments. The sales would give a profit cushion to the government and alleviate

It is in PDJT’s electoral interest, and our national interest, to establish in the public mind the rat’s support of a third world invasion.

Do that first. Then build the wall.

I don’t give a damn who is responsible for playing games with budget when Trump can build the wall now. Every day this silly holdup is one day more illegals cross the border. And we are supposed to feel good knowing that President Trump could build it now with an executive order. Just how serious is the wall. Not serious with communists Democrats, most empty minded Republicans and now the President?

Since were pulling out of Syria and Afghanistan, there should be plenty of extra money in the defense budget. Unfortunately it will only take one Federal Judge to stop it.

Ultimately the wall will get built and the dems will be on record for obstructing the security of our country.

Hey American people! Who do you vote for; the guy who bring prosperity, law and order (within reason), and ends our participation in overseas wars or the people who wants to let criminals, disease, drugs, and taxpayer draining illegals into America?

I think Trump wants it done right with support from Congress. I think he believes it’s wrong to do by Executive fiat. I believe most of the ones he has issued have been to undo the ones that Odumbo did. Less likely to get torn down if done the right way.

$26 billion in wire remittances from illegals to their family’s back home per year could be taxed.

Raise money ala Israeli bonds, issue Wall Bonds 3% tax free
people would buy them in $5,000 bonds.

Impounded Drug Cartel money, cars, houses. Sell the assets
transfer the money.

Cut foreign aid, bring troops home from Europe, put them on the border.

Have Mexican labor who are paid one quarter of USA rates build 4x times as much wall per dollar.

Have Army core of engineer, Seabees, build the wall

Cut the federal budget mostly Dems Govt. workers since Upchucky and Nancy frozen face are such jerks, make their base suffer until they cry uncle. We have too many people doing nothing or useless jobs anyway.

I want my wall and I want it now.

Bring out the Angel Families to chastise the Dems for being uncaring and anti American Safety.

I too have received some suggestions It’s called
Tariff Anticipation Notes That is, the notes payable will be repaid from collected tariffs. They will be off the balance sheet and will not add to the debt.

What is an Anticipation Note
An anticipation note is a short-term obligation that is issued for temporary financing needs by a municipality. Funds to pay off the note are “anticipated” to be received in the near future. The repayment of principal may be covered by a future longer-term bond issue, taxes, government grant or other form of revenue. These notes normally have maturities of one year or less and interest is payable at maturity rather than semi-annually. The notes are rated by credit agencies (S&P and Moody’s) to provide investors with indications of repayment risk.

BREAKING DOWN Anticipation Note
Anticipation notes are used to meet the short-term cash flow needs of cities or states and provide a way to manage the timing mismatch between their revenues and expenses. There are four different types of anticipation notes:

1.Tax anticipation notes (TANs), used in anticipation of future tax collections;
2.Revenue anticipation notes (RANs), issued with the expectation that non-tax revenue (such as federal or state aid) will pay the debt;
3.Tax and revenue anticipation notes (TRANs), which are paid off with a combination of taxes and revenue; and
4.Bond anticipation notes (BANs), which function as bridge loans and are issued when the municipality expects a future longer-term bond issuance to pay off the anticipation note at maturity.
