I don’t think Hillary will run again.

Mark Sanford...MIA as Governor of S.C., because he was shagging his mistress in Nazi Haven Argentina.

Even though Sanford is from my state, his wife is a lot better off without him, the people were a lot better off without him as governor, and we are a lot better off without him in congress. I predict he will be a footnote in history.

Isn’t he a cousin of the late Democrat Terry Sanford that Tar Heels liked so much?

I voted for McCain only because of Sarah Palin. I suspect McCain would have lost by more than he did with this Uniparty douche on the ticket instead of Palin.

Had McCain picked Sanford as VP in 2008, he may have had a chance. But no one knew that Sanford had affairs with other women.

Stop. The nation knew DJT had affairs and he was elected because he was the political opposite of the two stiffs you mentioned.

Paranoia strikes deep...into your heart it will creep....sanford is a clown past his expiration date...
He should read Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich before warning of the Hitlers around us..the polit. Situation in Germany was so different from us now that only a shallow thinker could draw any connection..utter stupidity...wonder how much msm paid him to make an idiotic pronouncement like that.

Maybe....Sanford would have been seen as more serious, more credible. I like Sarah Palin, but the media created a caricature of her that still lingers with her image today.

Sanford would have probably given McCain NC, OH, NV and NM because of his economically conservative views.

Remember, social conservatism essentially died in 2006 when the MSM tied the Evangelicals with Ted Haggard and the Iraq War. There is a reason why Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum will never be president, social conservatism is waning. Economic conservatism is the way to go.

However, Sanford is violently anti-Trump.

“but the forces at play could lead to a future Hitler-like character if we don’t watch out,”

Actually they did and he was called President Obama. Remember his “brown shirt army”, and the Lefts’ current Antifa troops.

All left wing, and all Socialist.

Trump won in 2016 because he presented a different political and social message than McCain, Sanford, and Hillary. Affairs don’t matter anymore unless you have a political message that resonates with average people and as long as you focus and be disciplined.

Sanford is a safe, strong man, but would have been destroyed if his affairs came out.

No Republican would have won in 2008 after 8 years of GWB/Cheney, it was just impossible.

But McCain could at least have poured more money in MO, NE, IA, NC and other battleground states to win.

Sanford in 2008 was seen as a GOP star because he was a Gingrich Republican, not a Bush Republican.

I’m ready to vote for Hitler if that’s what it takes to stop the Left... and I’m Jewish. Totally serious, too. Bring on Hitler, my odds are better than with Schumer.

Did Mark Sanford warn of this in 2008 and 2012? I’m betting he didn’t but I don’t really know.

Unfortunately, I believe he's more right than wrong.

The populace will only endure elected officials ignoring their best interests for so long. In the past when this has happened, they indeed turned to strongmen leaders - Caesar, Napoleon, Mussolini, and yes, Hitler.

We need to remain vigilant.

The National Socialist Workers Party thought the democrat Party of the USA was Too Far Left in the 30’s, in other words they were Moderate Democrats.
