I love the guy but don’t feel the need to defend every comment he makes. But I understand some here do. Trump’s up against the World so I get that deep devotion. I reserve that for more holy entities after being taken by political humans in the past.
If the President’s tweets embarrass you, that’s fine - but for many of us they are a source of great pride - he uses his tweets to get under the skin of the “politically correct”.
And don’t dismiss it as some kind of blind devotion - we actually LIKE the way he tweets!
I do sympathize with people who were raised with more refined tastes - I have fallen asleep listening to many a distinguished speaker. For some reason, Trump’s less eloquent speeches never put me to sleep.
