Ilan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were elected to the House. All three have professed their hatred of Israel and the Democrats. As of 2017, 74 Democrats and 4 Republicans in the house were openly anti-Israel, with Beto-O’Rourke, a potential presidential candidate in 2020 being one of them.

Since the Democrats are now in charge of congress, and as past Democrat condemnation of Israel has proven, there possibly can be bills against Israel introduced. Thankfully a Republican Senate and President Trump won’t let it go any further. Being a Jew who has lived and worked in Israel, I am happy Trump is our President.

I know about the Anti-Israel Boycott Act. Both Congress and the Senate have bills for it, with the recent one submitted by Cardin and Portman. The ACLU has asserted that it violates the first amendment for free speech. I agree with that assertion as did the supreme court in decision in 1982 NAACP vs Claiborne Hardware. Anyway, first off, I am not a liar. I offered my opinion. Hundreds, if not thousands of comments over the years revolving around changing someones comment to something else and saying, “there, fixed it” have been offered, most funny. Mine was no different. So I would say to you, “lighten up.” We are on the same side in this fight.

Let me say first off - I should not have implied you were a liar or ignorant.

I was out of line and mouthing off across many different streams and arguments some here — most personal and away from here.

I have gotten in the too easy habit of taking out my frustrations on things away from my main worry, which is personal and financial.

I realized this pretty soon after posting but was not able to respond until much later.

As I am the one who over-reacted and I appreciate your measured and thoughtful response which only further spotlighted my tantrum. Thanks for setting me straight and being classy.
