Chuck roasts are ridiculous. Have become thinner and thinner.
When I cook a roast....I want a ROAST!
I don’t even look at the red meat anymore. I wouldn’t know. It’s out of my league.
I DO like making a chuck roast. A couple of times ago, the smell was so good it was driving me crazy, LOL.
One of the dogs got tired of running up and down the stairs with me after I cooked it for about 4 hours.
I found one the other day that wasn’t too far out - seems like $11-$13 but yeah, a LOT more than they used to be.
I love a good ribeye but a nice 7blade chuck roast is out of this world and makes wonderful crazy
