Theodore Roosevelt died in his sleep on January 6, 1919, at his Long Island estate, Sagamore Hill, after suffering a coronary embolism. He was 60 years old. He was buried at the Youngs Memorial Cemetery in New York.
The Ken Burns doc on the Roosevelts is really good - especially the stuff on Teddy.
IMHO Burns trashed Teddy because he was a Republican. I don’t care for any of Burns’ pseudo-documentaries. He’s a liberal hack.
The POTUS who was shot while giving a speech and continued to give the speech. Today Democraps would complain of his “toxic masculinity”.

He is, he’s utter scum. He made a documentary on the Central park 5 that made them out to be innocent when in fact they’re guilty as all hell, and as a result of that the insane Marxist Mayor of New York city awarded them $41 million bucks! ADMITTED rapists and attempted murderers made millionaires. The lead cop in that case, Eric Reynolds, is black and he was completely ignored to make the cops look racist. I actually talked to him a few years ago on Facebook as my dad was a NYC cop and worked a precinct over. He says when they were first arrested, they were arrested for mugging a man in central park and hitting him over the head with a lead pipe. But they thought they were being arrested for raping and trying to kill that woman so they started blaming each other. If they were innocent how would they know about her?? They then admitted to it with their parents present in the room, they were caught later on bragging about it while in jail, and on the phone and now they are millionaires thanks to Ken Burns and Bill DeBlasio. AND if that isn’t enough, $41 million they claim is not enough money and they want and ADDITIONAL $50 million!
