Just as Kavanaugh may not rule on cases he was not seated for that were heard after Kennedy resigned

Kennedy resigned July 31 and Kavanaugh was sworn in on October 6th. He missed six cases in the first week of October.

“Has Schumer said Trump’s SC nominee is unacceptable yet?”

The statement and press releases are written. They’re just waiting for the name to fill in the blank.

I do not think she is alive. They’re delaying the announcement.

Is there a constitutional provision that says Justices can be there for life?

I guess his vulture/buzzard pals are still circling overhead. The hungriest one always lands first and gets the first bite.

“..And she’ll be bench pressing Elena Kagan in a movie promotion....”

One-handed, on one leg, blindfolded, while escaping from Houdini’s Water Torture cell...

Or, umm... Not... :^)

Who ever Trump nominates better have thin skin, the battle over Ruth’s seat will be epic and might even be bloody.

Everyone absolutely thought Hillary would win....Even considered it myself.

I prayed all day and into the night and was relieved when I saw the tides of fate rush to our shores and fulfill President Trump's destiny.

I’m sure it will be a female nomination. It’ll be about experience and previous opinions.

There are two females on Trump's list. Amy Barrett (excellent) and Judge Larson (also excellent). Of the two Amy is a favorite with Trumps' base but Larson might be more acceptable to the D's. I'm hoping Trump goes with Amy Barrett and I'm hoping she would be up to the task of going thru the very very ugly process.

Hiya jpsb! Happy New Year!

Indeed, a third Trump SCOTUS nominee will surely bring out the most vile behaviors the liberals have to offer.

I think Barrett is the stronger choice. Doesn’t matter. The Dems can beat their heads on the walls. They are NOT going to crucify a female.

Absolutely...and the reasoning behind it was that there was no influence by a promise of a future job.

Kavanaugh wasn’t sworn in on the first cases due to the senate circus. That looks like it might make an apples and oranges argument.
