Delusional, but also hateful/resentful. She seems to have had a pretty good life in the US, despite all the ‘bad Americans’. Does she think that what exists here exists just because America exists - independent of the people?Yes, she does. But she views these things differently. You imply America, I presume you mean what I think are still American values, exists because of the people. Not independent of them. She doesn't see an American people, but a bunch of peoples, living in America, aka the hemisphere. The well off people need to take care of the less well off people, throughout the hemisphere. Why I would work to do that, I don't know.

Not sure what an "Everyday immigrant" is, but I do know that EVERY illegal immigrant commits a crime by crossing our border. And excepting those illegals who are independently wealthy, commit more serious crimes if they work or collect benefits.

What is the make up of the district that elected her? Around 80% democrat, maybe a touch less. Once Archie Bunker country. Now, 46 percent Hispanic, 11 percent black, 16 percent Asian, and 25 percent white. The whites largely "gentrifiers". Who probably vote as progressives.
