He may be sharp but he has a pathological ambition to be President. If he can figure how to get to 270 electoral votes and the polling suggests its possible, he will not resist the temptation to go for it as an Independent. After all what else would a multi billionaire in his early seventies desperately crave if he thinks it might be in reach.
