Pictures shared on social media show fire engines swarmed the area with reports a number of people have been injured
MULTIPLE people are reported to have been injured after a massive explosion rocked Paris this morning.
Police confirmed a blast had taken place on Saturday morning on Rue de Treviso the 9th district of the French capital.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known, however there are reports that it was due to a gas leak in a bakery.

Looking like a classic gas leak.
Video from a guy on scene just after it happened and ahead of emergency crews arrive.
Makes you wonder though.
A mass influx of people of the religion of peace, many with terrorist links, pouring into a major European city! What could possibly go wrong?

One of the last things I think of after an explosion in Paris is a classic gas leak. I go first terrorism.

This guy’s descriptions, in breathless, hyper emotional English, do not match what his very own video is showing, either in terms of the damage or of the reaction and behavior of the people on the scene. And the firetrucks and emergency vehicles, lights flashing, are visible at the scene before he gets there; he heads for the scene by following their lights. He walks down the block towards the fire, lingers a few moments taking his video, and turns around walks away (possibly because of the person or persons, a fire fighter?, yelling “A BAS!” repeatedly at him and other gawkers - in this context that would mean something like “GET BACK!”). The police do arrive after he has wandered down the block and back, and it looks like the first thing they do is try to move persons away from street with the fire and most of the broken windows.

I’d say it would depend on who owned the bakery, who was living above it. Might also have been an occupant stealing nat gas.

Wild ass guess - gas leak then explosion. It is a bakery after all.
Don’t think it is terrorism (what is the point of blowing up a bakery?)
Nor do I think it is a false flag (again, a bakery).
If it was terrorism or a false flag then a police station or a school would have been a better target.
But it too little information to make anything but a wild ass guess, and since this is FREE REPUBLIC home of the wild ass guesses I thought I would add my own /s
Wow - thanks for the video. Such a beautiful city but the NE section has so many muslims, when I first saw the report I was worried. Most of the issues they have including car burnings are in the section NE of Sacre-Couere De Montmarte. So any problems in that area, the ferals are always something to consider.
That was my first thought, an illegal gas tap. (second thought actually)
