The Congressman kept retreating to his preposterous and indefensible Pelosi talking points. Unfortunately he looked silly and he knew it. Works on ignorant and low info voters (this category includes the press) but not on more intelligent observers. At the end Maria said he could come back later to complete the conversation. He delivered a nervous laugh while wetting his pants.
