Hope everyone sees what’s going on here, Trump is ‘managing’ the shutdown so essential services continue like tax refunds, and income verification for mortgages.

But gov’t employees aren’t being paid - he’s hoping they pressure Pelosi-Schumer .

This was not big deal. One of their own said that they do a total of about 800 inspections a year. Are we all going to die because of the shutdown?

The Democrats, driven by nothing but hate at losing, are jeopardizing lives not only at the border ( thousands of murders and rapes) but they are risking lives at the air ports and and now food inspections . They already voted for the Wall three times!! WHAT ARE THEY DOING? This is now on them real bad!!

The bottom line is that we are going to find that most of these furloughed people aren’t really necessary. And, the agencies they work in aren’t necessary, either.

Used to ‘joke’ that during a ‘natural emergency’ or Govt slow down with orders for non-essential personnel to stay home, you had people getting off their ‘death bed’ and terminal leave to come to work rather than be OFFICIALLY designated non-essential.

Employees are not stupid. They know that if they voluntarily report to work, (with the guarantee that they eventually get paid), they will be the last to be RIF’d when it finally happens and are going to be more likely to get advanced by management when an opening occurs.
