WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump welcomed the NCAA champion Clemson Tigers football team to the White House Monday with a shutdown smorgasbord of fast food offerings he called "great American food," including piles of pizza and fries and more than 300 burgers.
“Because of the shutdown, as you know, we have the great Clemson team with us, so we went out and ordered American fast food paid for by me,” the president said in the East Room, standing behind a table loaded with offerings from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King and Dominos served on silver platters, behind a gilded candelabra.

I’d been thrilled since I prefer burgers over steaks. Steak is ok.
My anti-Donald and sports fan was upset and thought it wasn’t dignified or something. I’d considered Don’s menu a treat.
We elected a problem solver, and this is just one of many examples that he is just that - a problem solver.
You can tell Trump’s instincts are on-target because all of the right people are upset about this.
Love the photos of him with the feast. This is the kind of thing that makes his millions of supporters love him, and creates millions more supporters.
It’s All-American, is what it is.

I can have some fun with the anti Trump mentality at home. I fix the technology and stuff around the house.
They looked like they all had a good time. Media of course will never want to show President Trump in a good light so I’m guessing CNN and MSNBC won’t be showing extensive highlights. Go Tigers.
Also, I love the very notion of burgers and pizzas served on silver platters.
I watched a cool little video clip of him talking about “great American food” while the White House staff person is busily lighting candles on the fancy candelabras as piles of Big Macs sit behind on silver serving platters ;-)
Then there’s the stupid idiot woman on CNN who had a hissy because Trump referred to the First Lady and “the Second Lady” maybe making salads....thinking he was calling Ivanka the “second lady”. Dummy doesn’t know anything!
