President Trump should give the SOTU address on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his I Have A Dream speech.

Trump can call for a rally at the Mall for that Tuesday and give his speech there. If it's about addressing the people, then let the people come to hear it directly, at the mall, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, with the Reflecting Pond and the Washington Monument at the other end, and Congress nowhere in sight. That would be a great Trumpian visual.

Oh, and he can show off how good the Washington DC security really is, too.
