US Constitution, Article II, Section. 3. [The President] shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

Sounds to me like the president is in the drivers seat, not Pelosi. “He may convene both houses” clearly shows that the choice is Trump’s, not Pelosi’s. Just another attempt by the Dems to shatter the Constitution.

The President should give the State of the Union in the Senate chamber, but he should definitely stand before the American people in Congress and lay out all of the record-breaking accomplishments that he has achieved for the American people.

I love the few sentence stipulated in the Constitution. I can only imagine what other laws have been added onto that over the 200 years. For example “from time to time” may have become “Every year during the third week of February” or something.
