When, I am driving the speed limit in a two lane hilly curvy area, tailgating me in a big beast is close to criminal assaultIm looking for a new car with trunk missiles as an option.

Last, but not least. for a year or so, I am on 2 RX blood thinners and aspirin.
If a tailgater hits me, I could die from a brain bleed or maybe worse.

Good old US 191. I used to drive it regularly. Montana is not famous for keeping the snow off their roads cleared. If there was a recent snow on US 191, I’d move over to I-15, a bit longer over Monida Pass but way safer.

“If you saw that person in Warren County, IL, that was probably a member of the Thompson clan. I have friends that used to tell me about competing against them at the demos many years ago.”
Wow! Who do you know around here? I assume this is the Thompson family that trucks gravel and dirt and runs heavy equipment? One of the older gentlemen was in the nursing home I worked at. Good folks.

"Hysterical. Comment of the week!"
Thanks. Some people don't appreciate a sick sense of humor. Glad you do.

In that case, he should need a passport to get into the US.

Those death scene markers on 191 were crazy! I was shocked at the number of deaths marked on that mountain road!

It is also a main road in and out of Yellowstone. You combine all that motor home traffic + bad drivers + treacherous terrain and you get almost as much danger in summer as in winter. Beautiful scenery, but it is a long drive from West Yellowstone to Bozeman.
Take the road south for an interesting study in cultural clash. Lots of beer sold in Island Park . . . the longest narrowest town in America and some of the best fishing too. Ashton is where the Lutheran culture meets the Mormon culture with a mix of ranch, farm and vacationland. Bars and drinking establishments start thinning out. Once you reach the Mormon town of Rexburg (home of BYU Idaho), the only place to buy a brewski with your meal is the Applebee restaurant just south of the city limits.
US 191 is one of the most interesting highways in America.

ALL SUVs are flippers
That's probably why good old station wagons are making a comeback.

You should try driving the speed limit in New Jersey.. Drivers here are exceptionally rude and hostile.

They were rude and hostile in the late 1960’s and early 70’s.

Or at least a controllable rear mounted laser to take out their cooling system and motor.
