Depends on how .we define illegal alien.
My wife entered illegally. It took 8 years for her to get a green card and another 10 to become a citizen. Is she “once an illegal, always an illegal” ?
I ask my co-workers their immigration status. They reply that it is “in process” ? What does that mean? Some are working on a student visa or tourist visa and hoping to get a work visa of some type (there are dozens of types of work visas of which H1b is only the most famous.) Some have nothing but a hope that they will find a spouse or anhor baby or something.
Define “ilegal alien” please.
Was she married to you when she broke into our country?
Someone residing in another country without proper paper work and or using illegally obtained ID’s such as someone else’s SS# or DL.
As a bonus they refuse no only to assimilate but have no intention to learn their occupied countries language.
I don’t know what is worse, illegal aliens flaunting our laws, or the sanctimonious BS spewed by their American enablers. I can’t decide.
Anyone in the country without permission or authorization.
I read your profile and it reads just a bit like boilerplate neocon “replace American blue-collar worker” crap. If you have ever voted, you have likely made a vote for the welfare state which helped create a generation of low-employability Citizens. The illegals don’t have that, wherever they come from. They will get it here. Sure they work, and live 20 to a house. And drive drunk (and run after they hit someone). And impregnate underage girls. And vote for the welfare state, gun control, and government everything. And commit ID theft.
We have plenty of labor here. Raise the wages, and the positions will be filled.
Hi, spintreebob-
Did you enter the relationship with her while she was an illegal immigrant? Curious. It would be hard dealing with/being friends with someone like you would could endorse illegal activity.
Like a judge who hangs with those who he or she knows to break laws and still wants to be viewed as a proper individual.... cannot be done.
It’s the ‘do as I say, not as I do,’ mentality kicking in when you do that, I would hazard....
An illegal alien is a person who has entered and/or resides within the legal boundaries of the USA without an official and unexpired card, visa, or waiver to be here. Until they get an official card, visa, or waiver from the federal government, they are an illegal alien. If they remain after the card, visa, or waiver expires, they are an illegal alien.
A person who is within the boundaries of a political state without that government’s authorization.
