Dear Madam Speaker:
Thank you for your letter of January 3, 2019, sent to me after the long Shutdown began, inviting me to address the Nation on January 29th as to the State of the Union. As you know, I had already accepted your kind invitation, however, I then received another letter from you dated January 16th, 2019, wherein you expressed concerns regarding security during the State of the Union Address due to the Shutdown. Even prior to asking, I was contacted by the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Secret Service to explain that there would be absolutely no problem regarding security with respect to the event. They have since confirmed this publicly.
Accordingly, there are no security concerns regarding the State of the Union Address. Therefore, I will be honoring your invitation, and fulfilling my Constitutional duty, to deliver important information to the people and Congress of the United States of America regarding the State of our Union.
I look forward to seeing you on the evening on January 29th in the Chamber of the House of Representatives. It would be so very sad for our Country if the State of the Union were not delivered on time, on schedule, and very importantly, on location!

Well I know POTUS Trump knows better than me ;^) but I was hoping he would deliver the SofU address out of DC and away from the evil Demoncraps. Deprive them of all the TV facetime and opportunities to scowl, sneer, try to show him up, etc.
But I’m sure he judges that the opportunity to stick it to Nancy and the Demoncraps is just too good to pass up. I do admire his willingness to take them on directly.

I still think he should invite Cline Eastwood to stand by Pelosi’s empty chair and maybe say a few words. Just in case she boycotts and doesn’t show up.
And if she does show up. Maybe Trump could get Clint to stand in front of her. Just to improve the background image.
Still 6 days left. A lot could happen by then. Knowing him he’s probably got plan B,C,D,E and F if needed. lol

I’m kinda waiting for that. Especially after he says, “Lowest unemployment numbers for African Americans in history!”
Followed by “Highest number of jobs filled by women in history!”
And, after each, he points at them from the podium. (Because the CSPAN cameras won’t show it!)

They can only vote to allow him to speak from the floor. He can be present at any time.
Yeah you just know those commie Dems in Congress(Including the Ragheads that Minnesota and Michigan voted for) will be booing him, screaming that he is a racist and a liar, and turning their backs to him. I say that President Trump should bring the Angel Moms and Dads, bring them to the podium and let them speak
You know the RATs are going to open a chorus of “Open the Government” ... hope he has a comeback
He should then turn around and deliver the speech from the steps of the Capitol. They could have a stage set-up beforehand, just in case. It would be like a second inauguration.
So what’s the bitch’s next move? Order the Sergeant-at-Arms to refuse The President of the United States entry to the House chamber?
