We haven’t had governance by constitutional means since FDR betrayed the Republic and Mr No Repeal Eisenhower rubber stamped it. Eisenhower could have save this nation from the cancer FDR planted in its bones but it seemed harmless enough to him at the time.
Booker & Feinstein should have been expelled from the Senate for their actions in the Cavanaugh fiasco.
At least an official ‘admonishment’ and expulsion from any major committee if not shown the door.

The LAST really honest Pol with higher ambitions was Bob Dole who - even with all his ‘faults’ - resigned his Senate seat when he got the nomination for Pres so he could devote his full time and attentin to the Pres race and NOT deprive his ‘loyal constituents’ of representation.
