You are welcome to your opinion, it’s still a free country.
Maybe I’ll check it out again at the library and read the ending. Now you’ve made me curious. Or maybe I’ll read the ending right there..LOL I swear I couldn’t tell you anything I read when I put it down - meeting some guy on a park bench, near some trees, at a museum, on a hillside, in DC and whatever that was about, it sure escaped me. I couldn’t get the symbolism.
Chapters 18-20 are the ones that tie everything together.
Did you get to the part about the sycamore tree? That plays into it. That’s chapters 10 & 11.
The book is cryptic and often hard to follow. They keep interrupting each others conversations and that makes it difficult, plus often in the dialogue, he’s not real clear about who is doing the talking.
“”Did you get to the part about the sycamore tree?””
I really don’t know - if it was on that hill I got to, could be. I’m going to the library next week and I will add it to my list of books. Truthfully, it read like a bad movie to me..someone showing up wherever I turned!!
