uh uh. The 14th Amendment - though never legally and constitutionally passed says that the constitution applies to states too. Since the USSC has seen fit to rule against states before under this amendment, it can now just do so again.
Leftists never hold the higher moral ground, and the ends for them always justify the means.
The hippies who fled to Canada were selfish and/or cowardly. If they had been principled, they would have stayed and accepted the consequences.
The ACLU was founded by communists, and always looks to the endgame; any apparent lack of bias is illusory and temporary.
It is conscious conservatives (not thoughtless traditionalists) - the classic true liberals - who always hold the higher moral ground.
There is no one more unjustifiably puritanical than an avowed leftist.
“wheres the organization, mission statement, assembly points, chain of command, etc.”
It’s the other part of the 2nd amendment that’s missing.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,... “
Don’t forget that in the 18th Century “well regulated” meant “well trained and drilled”, not “closely watched and controlled”.
Just saw a documentary about the French Resistance in WWII. Hostile occupation drove disparate elements together in unity against a common threat. If American patriots decide that the forces of law & order no longer legitimately reflect the will of the people, then something similar can occur here as in 1940-1944 France.
“All of those morality plays they made in the old days are forgotten.”
Exactly. All that was simply a means to an end.
